What we collect
GetMyRV does not require an account. We collect only: (1) your location, if you choose "Closest to me" or enter a ZIP code or city in the dealer search — used only to sort dealers by distance and not stored with your identity; (2) anonymous usage data, such as pages viewed and clicks on dealer websites, to improve the site; and (3) anything you send us by email.
How we use it
To show nearby dealers, measure which features are useful, and answer your messages. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and local storage
The site stores small settings in your browser (for example, your compare list and recent search filters). You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.
Outbound link measurement
When you follow a link from GetMyRV to a dealer, manufacturer or RV show website, we record pseudonymous information about that click — the page, the destination, the time, a short-lived first-party session cookie and scrambled (hashed) versions of your network address and browser type. We never store your raw IP address. We use this only to measure referrals, filter out bots and fraud, and report performance. A recorded click does not mean you are a buyer, and this is not used for advertising.
Third parties
Maps are provided by Google Maps, which may process your IP address under Google's own privacy policy. When you click through to a manufacturer or dealer website, their privacy policy applies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Virginia, or other US states), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold. Email us and we will respond within the time the law requires.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
